An old rivalry renewed in the Mid-Cities as L.D. Bell was looking to break a 24 game losing streak to longtime nemesis Euless Trinity and they jump out to a 7-0 lead as Maddox finds a hole right up the middle and scoots in from 13 yards out.
Trinity would score 14 unanswered, after a Gary Maddox touchdown run the Trojans go to the air as TJ Tupou finds a wide open Buddy Leota out of the backfield as they take a 14-7 lead to halftime.
After the intermission, Bell Quarterback Landon Garcia in all kinds of trouble but keeps this play alive and finds Jalen David behind the defense, this one good for 44 yards and we're tied at 21, headed to overtime
Bell would have to settle for a field goal so Trinity answers with Garry Maddox banging in from 2 yards out, Trinity survives in OT 27-24 that keeps the streak alive at 25 and they advance to play Keller in the bi-district round next week.
