Independence head coach Kyle Story has led the Knights to their first ever playoff wins, but a tough match up Friday against Lancaster.
Offense was non-existent in the first half of this game. No one scored until a minute before halftime -- this Dwayne Orr run for Independence set up a field goal, and the Knights led 3-0 at the break.
The 2nd half was all Lancaster. Tre Bradford scored on a 2-yard run to give the Tigers a 7-3 lead, and then he scored on this 69-yard sprint up the sideline. Bradford finished with 159 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.
Late third quarter, Independence lost the ball on a fumble and the Tigers scooped it up, setting up a 14-yard touchdown pass on the very next play from Glenn Rice Junior to L.D. Fair. Lancaster rolls in the 2nd half to win 34-10
