Thursday night in Fort Worth, Carter-Riverside hosted Lake Worth. Both teams 3-and-1.
The Bullfrogs jumped out to a quick lead, and CORNELL AVINGTON did most of the heavy lifting. He caught a 44-yard touchdown pass just a minute and a half into the game.
Toward the end of the first quarter, he got around the edge and would take it to the house for a 69-yard touchdown run and a couple minutes later, he scored his 3rd touchdown of the first quarter.
The Eagles got on the board in the 2nd on this run from JAMEER MUHAMMED, but Lake Worth wins big 51-13.
