Emotional night in Midlothian as the Panthers lost one of their coaches, Cliff White, last week to cancer.
But they took on Lake Belton in a battle for first place in 4-5A Division 1. Michael Garber started the scoring with a 3 yard run.
2nd quarter, Lake Belton would take the lead as D'Arius Wilkerson bounces off defenders for a 10 yard touchdown. Broncos up 13-7.
Midlothian answers back immediately. De'ago (Diego) Benson gets through the line of scrimmage and is gone for an 80 yard touchdown. 157 yards for Benson on the night and Midlothian is up 14-13.
Later 2nd, it's Benson again from the 11 yard line. Midlothian wins it 39-37 to go to 8-0 and we'll have more on this emotional win a little later on.
