The Krum girls haven't been to state since 1982 and started their quest for their first girls championship against Mexia. First half, Julia Schmaltz scores underneath from the tough angle and the Lady Bobcats led 25-23. Later, on the break, Rachel Wallace throws it up court to Schmaltz who goes the rest of the way for the layup. Schmaltz with 14 points and Krum was clinging to a small lead. 4th quarter, Me HAY a pulls away. Nice ball movement here to Breana Stoner for the 3 from the corner. Krum's state championship dreams are dashed as they lose this one 50-41.
