Big 12-5A game in Lancaster as 8th ranked Tigers took on #1 Kimball.
First quarter, the ball gets loose, but winds up in the hands of Micah Clark who slams it home one handed. The Lancaster crowd letting the Knights fans hear about it too.
This game was ridiculously fast paced in the first half. Lancaster's Kade Douglas takes it baseline for the layup. But don't blink, because here comes the Knights the other way. T'john Brown with the nifty right handed layup for 2. As Brown is running back, Douglas is ready to score again. He takes it to the free throw line for 2 of his 18 points. Lancaster up 32-31.
Texas commit, Arterio Morris, just back from an injured ankle, shakes and bakes his defender, pulls back for the fadeaway and is fouled. Yeah, that's a D-1 kid for sure. Kimball up 40-34 at the half.
Second half, the Tigers attack the rim ferociously. Dorien Goodman goes right to the rack for the bucket. Game tied at 51 after 3.
Then the home run pass to Clark who spins on his defender for a basket. He led all with 20 points and Lancaster gets the home win 73-65.
