The other game at Loos Friday night featured Stephen Spurlock and Newman Smith taking on the two-time defending state champion Kimball Knights... And it was McDonald's All-American Keith Frazier setting the tone early, Kimball down 3, but Frazier jumps in front the pass and brings it right into your living room and finishes with the two-handed flush... Kimball fans wanna see more... And they would later in the first, Frazier comes up with another steal and he's coming at you once again, this time he finishes he the break with the tomahawk jam! And he knows exactly where the camera is, too... Kimball up 16-10 Newman Smith responds... Camryn Cole gets his man in the air and dishes it to Walter Rickett who slams home two of his team-high 21 points... Then off a Kimball turnover, Spurlock saves and the ball eventually gets into the hands of Darion Brown who lays it in to give Newman Smith a two-point lead... Kimball would pull away in the second half, though... Frazier makes the nice backdoor cut and D'angelo Allen finds him so he can throw it down to put Kimball up 6... Frazier led all scorers with 24 then in the fourth, Jordan Adams gets it to Trent Brinkley who jams home the exclamation point... Kimball wins 74-57 to set up a highly-anticipated showdown with Lincoln in the next round.
