The district opener in 5-6A had a pair of unbeaten teams, Keller Central at 3-0 on the road against Denton Guyer. Guyer would score first with quarterback Eli Stowers breaking containment and slinging it out to Cam Thrallkill. He makes a nice move and gets in for a 19-yard score, and a quick 7-0 lead.
Kaedric Cobbs with another huge night, he goes for 160 yards on just 16 carries, this one never in doubt as Guyer wins the district opener, 49-10.
