Hudson Bowman Rushes for 237 Yards as Prosper Tops Jesuit 54-31 in District 6-6A

October 22, 2026
Hudson Bowman ran for 237 yards and 3 TDs as Prosper beat Jesuit 54-31 in District 6-6A, leaving both teams at 3-1 in the standings.

District 6-6A has no shortage of firepower, but Hudson Bowman made sure the spotlight belonged to him Friday night. The Prosper running back carried the ball 23 times for 237 yards and three touchdowns, providing the engine behind a 54-31 victory over Jesuit that keeps the Eagles in the thick of the district race.

Jesuit drew first blood with a 7-0 lead before JP Livingstone connected with Joseph Konings on a 20-yard touchdown pass to even the score at 7-7. The Rangers' quarterback would finish with four touchdown passes on the night, including a red-zone strike to Max Smith that briefly cut the Prosper lead to four points in the second quarter.

But Prosper answered every Jesuit surge. Early in the second quarter, quarterback Tyler Albert threaded a pass across the middle to Braden Schleifer-Bell, who turned it into a 72-yard touchdown — one of the signature plays of the night. Albert finished completing 10 passes for 248 yards, giving Prosper a balanced offensive attack that Jesuit could not contain.

With the win, Prosper improves to 3-1 in district play. Jesuit sits at the same mark, meaning the loss stings but does not eliminate the Rangers from contention. The race in District 6-6A remains tight heading into the back half of the schedule.
