Gordon High's Remarkable Football Season

In May 2025, an F1 tornado unexpectedly struck Gordon, Texas, a small town renowned for its six-man football team. The tornado caused significant damage to the local high school, notably affecting the stadium and other facilities. Despite this setback, the community came together, led by students and athletes, to repair and rebuild. By November, Gordon High School made a notable comeback with their first home football game of the season, marking a symbolic victory by securing a district title.
