In the 4A Division 2 playoffs, Gilmer and Glen Rose met in Prosper.
This game got out of hand quickly. After Glen Rose had scored to tie the game at 7-7, Gilmer's GERAMIAH NOBLE took the ensuing kickoff the other way, taking it up the far sideline, and he didn't stop till the end zone. A 77-yard touchdown for a 14-7 lead.
Gilmer had several quick-strike scores -- this one came on the first play after a Glen Rose punt, 75-yards by WILL HENDERSON. The Buckeyes led 42-7 with 8 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter ... they win big, 79-42 and will play Bellville in the state title game.
