Why did the chicken cross the road? Well apparently to get to the early Saturday morning Garland McKinney North game
First quarter, McKinney North's Colin Hitchcock with the 2 yard quarterback keeper and the Bulldogs were up 7-0.
They led 10-2 in the 2nd and Garland was hoping to get things going off the kickoff, but only one problem.....the Owls left the ball behind.....McKinney North jumps on it and they're in business.
Next possession, Hitchcock dumps the pass off to Jayden Walker and Jayden has a nose for the end zone and he cuts and weaves 25 yards to the end zone. 17-2 Bulldogs.
25 seconds left in the half and Hitchcock finds Brandon Powell for a 28 yard touchdown pass. The defense would hold Garland to 41 total yards. McKinney North wins this one 38-2
