Pearce got off to a great start, scoring on their first drive on a swing pass from Hayden Hawthorne to Adam Velin. The Mustangs led 7-0. Wakeland came right back with a long drive that ended with a touchdown pass from Brennan Myer to Davion Woolen. That play covered 16 yards, but they missed the extra point so it was 7-6 Pearce. Wakeland running back Jalen White had a huge game, 189 yards and three touchdowns. Wakeland was up 13-6 in the first quarter. This game got out of hand in the 2nd quarter. Davion Woolen got a pick-6, and Wakeland got a big win, 55-7.
