Always nice seeing opposing cheerleaders getting along as Reedy took on Wakeland at the Ford Center
3rd quarter, Reedy up 21-14, Jake Ferner surveying the field and sees Hunter Zurlis open. Zurlis makes a terrific catch at the 3 to end the quarter.
We flip sides for the fourth and Triston Airy scores from the 4. He had 154 yards rushing and 2 scores. 28-14 Lions.
Later 4th, Wakeland gets down to the 3. Brennan Myer rolls to his right, pump fakes and throws over one receiver to a wide open Ryder Treadway for the score. It's 28-21.
4th and 7 and Wakeland is expecting Reedy to punt, but they run a play. And a successful one at that as Braden Hernandez avoids the rush and hooks up with Mason Easley for a 38 yard back breaking score. Reedy hangs on to the 35-28 win.
