29-3 WT White girls taking on Frisco Lone Star in a 5A Region 2 area round game. Lone Star got off to the good start, however, Kendall Foster gets the pass in the land and she pulls up for the jumper. Rangers up 20-12 in the second quarter. Longhorns would keep plugging away. Ida Gueye (Guy-yay) uses the excellent pick to have a free lane to the hoop. That's about as easy a bucket as you'll ever see. Later, Leslie Ineza (Uh-neice-uh) is open for 3....it's good. W T White brings it back to a one point game. End of the first half, a little mix up on the in bounds as the ball goes through Gueye's legs right to Tilah Perez who scores and the Rangers up at half. But W T White would take care of business in the second half. Gueye dribbles into the paint and throws up the right handed hook. the Longhorns have themselves a 30 win season and a trip to the 3rd round of the post season with a 45-39 win.
