The second 4A regional semifinal pitted Red Oak and Texas Tech bound Diamond Lockhart against Frisco Liberty. FIrst quarter, off the turnover, Liberty's Beatrice Attura throws a half court lob to Bria Frierson and she puts it in off glass. Lockhart would be in foul trouble in the first half so the Lady Hawks relied on R Trevia Randolph who knocks down this 3 pointer. Her 3 was contested though....not the same for Liberty's Attura. She was left all alone and splashes this trifecta to give the Redhawk girls the 16-9 first quarter lead. 9th ranked Liberty would then give Red Oak a heavy dose of Frierson inside. The junior led everyone with 16 points. Frisco LIberty cruises to the 49-28 win and will play Lincoln at 1pm for a chance to go to state.
