Frisco High Dominates Panther Creek 35-10 at the Ford Center
Three turnovers proved too steep a hill to climb for Panther Creek, as Frisco High pulled away for a 35-10 victory at the Ford Center.
The Raccoons wasted little time establishing control. In the first quarter, Kason Cowan found nothing on his left side, reversed course, and turned the corner for a 14-yard touchdown run to put Frisco on the board first. The lead grew to 21-3 by halftime after Brendon Bounds connected with Baron Barker on a 28-yard play-action score.
Panther Creek showed some creativity in the third quarter, dialing up a trick play that saw wide receiver Sukora Cooper take a pitch and launch a 38-yard touchdown pass to Willie Davis, cutting the deficit to 21-10. But the Panthers could not sustain the momentum against a Frisco defense that kept forcing turnovers.
Kam Anderson's six-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter closed the door, giving the Raccoons a final margin of 35-10 and sending Frisco High to 3-2 on the season.
