Flower Mound Marcus Wins First Swim Title; Keller Takes Silver

The Flower Mound Marcus boys swimming team made history by securing their first-ever team title at the state championships. Anchored by victories in the 200 Medley and 200 Free relays, Marcus scored 148 points to top Strake Jesuit and Southlake Carroll. On the girls' side, the defending champions from Keller finished second overall to The Woodlands. Keller's strong performance included gold medals in the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Free Relay, and individual wins by Natalie Schneider and Ella McWhorter. Other DFW standouts included Richardson Pearce diver Michael Evans, who was named athlete of the meet, and individual champions from Mansfield, Rockwall, and Southlake Carroll.
