Tamika Catchings is a Hall of Famer and she was the best girls basketball players we've ever covered in the past 25 years. This week's Flashback takes a look back at her career at Duncanville and beyond

Over the years the Dallas-Fort Worth area has produced its fair share of talented players in girls basketball. Many have gone onto successful careers in college and the WNBA. The most decorated of the bunch is Duncanville's Tamika Catchings. Her resume speaks for itself. After leading the Pantherettes to a state championship in 1997, she went on to be an integral part of a national championship for the Lady Vols at Tennessee. That success translated at the next level where she enjoyed a successful pro career of 15 years with the Indiana Fever. The highlight came in 2012 when she earned MVP honors and a WNBA championship.
