Ennis Lions Roar to Victory, Secure Playoff Spot with 42-13 Win

The 2000 state championship team was honored before kickoff, and former coach Sam Harrell watched Ennis deliver a performance worthy of the occasion with a 42-13 victory over Corsicana that clinches a playoff berth.

Damian Baizar's hit forced a fumble that Klijah Parker scooped and returned for a touchdown to set the tone early. Wendarius Jones added a physical touchdown run that extended the cushion before halftime.

Corsicana briefly tied the game, but Ennis responded decisively. Chris Martinez's perfect pass to Traveon Stewart in the second half broke the game open and sealed the playoff spot.
