Enhancing Safety in Football with New Tackle Wheels in Mansfield ISD

In Mansfield ISD, football safety has taken a step forward with the introduction of tackle wheels, funded by a grant from Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. These wheels are distributed across Mansfield ISD high schools and middle schools, with 24 tackle wheels in total. They are designed to aid coaches in teaching proper tackling techniques, focusing especially on reducing the risk of head injuries. The utilization of these wheels allows players to learn and practice controlled aggression and correct form from an early age, enhancing safety in the physically demanding sport of football.
