In the first Whataburger semifinal number 1 in the state Duncanville took on Desoto
This was a good one. First quarter, Desoto's Duncan Powell drives the land and dishes to Chrisdon Morgan for the two handed stuff. Desoto raced to a 8-0 lead.
Panthers will tie it up by going to Texas Tech signee, Micah Peavy, who knocks down the 3. 10-10.
Nice inside game by Desoto's Robert Jennings. He makes the sweet hook shot that would get Chris Dyer's team a 28-24 lead at the halftime.
3rd quarter, Ja'Bryant Hill with the alley and Peavy with the oop plus the foul. That got the crowd into it and tied the score.
But Desoto would go up 43-39 when Powell drives the lane and dishes to Jennings for a one handed stuff.
Game tied at 46, Duncanville would dribble the clock down from 2 minutes to 5 seconds. That left it up to Peavy to make a play and he would hit the floater with 1.1 left and Duncanville wins it 48-46
