Denton Guyer Softball Star Finley Montgomery Breaks Career Wins Record

Denton Guyer High School softball standout Finley Montgomery is proving to be an all-around machine on the diamond. Best known for her dominance on the pitcher's mound, Montgomery recently made history by becoming the Wildcats' all-time career wins leader. Her impressive campaign last year featured a 20-4 record, a 2.23 ERA, and 187 strikeouts across just 142 innings, helping lead Denton Guyer to the 6A Division 2 state semifinals. Not only is she a force as a pitcher, but she also excels at the plate, boasting a .402 batting average last season. With only one loss so far this year, Montgomery continues to mow down the competition before she heads off to play college softball for Notre Dame.
