Over at Duncanville, 5 star defensive end Colin Simmons sitting their game out with Skyline while nursing an ankle injury. He should be back for DeSoto next week.
This week, first drive, check out Skyline's Adam Dweh with the interception and he takes it all the way down to the 2 yard line where the Raiders would kick a field goal to go up 3-0. Skyline is feeling GOOD.
And then those good feelings...well, they just went away....as Duncanville starting doing what Duncanville does...Caden Durham...pure speed around the right side for 49 yard score. 7-3
Then Brandon Barnes mishandles the ball for Skyline and it hits the turf, Kevin Ford Junior picks it up for the scoop and score. 3 defensive touchdowns for the Panthers on the night.
Last play of the half and SMU recruit Keelon Russell launches the ball into the night, Zach Turner comes down with it in double coverage for the touchdowns. Duncanville wins it 49-3 as they await DeSoto for the district championship next week.
