WT White the only unbeaten team in 11-5A, taking on Kimball Wednesday night.
1st quarter, Kimball's JAYLON DEAN-VINES tosses to LANCE CARR for the dunk. The Knights scored 21 points in the first 10 minutes.
But when White's JOHN PRICE blocked this dunk attempt in the 2nd quarter, that seemed to turn the tide.
MAXWELL CHAMBERS got a steal at midcourt and converted on the other end, and Kimball's 9 point lead was down to 3.
Just before halftime, JAYLON DEAN-VINES went coast to coast in 3-point-6 seconds and scored on a runner. It was Kimball by 3 at halftime.
White's STEVEN CRUZ blitzed the Knights with three 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter alone; he finished with 18 points.
And BEN PRICE punctuates the win with a dunk, in a 63-53 victory for WT White.
