First drive of the game for the Panthers and it would be Isaac Shabay taking the rock, making a couple men miss and diving into the endzone. Heritage would go for 2 and get it, 8-0 Panthers.
Following drive for Grapevine, and its quarterback Austin Alexander throwing this 66 yard pass to Caleb Texada who bobbles but catches it running down the sideline, makes a cut back to the inside and scores. But that would be it for the night for the Grapevine offense.
Heritage would keep the ball on the ground for most of the night and get great production with runs like this by junior running back Braxton Ash. He and Shabay would combine for 178 yards rushing.
The Panthers would go on to win this one 28-7 and move to 4-1 in district
