Celina's Rise to 5A: Coach Elliott & Star QB Bentley Lead the Charge

Bill Elliott has coached Celina football for over three decades. Under his leadership as Head Coach for 13 years, the team has seen remarkable growth, preparing to move to 5A. The team's success is highlighted by Bowe Bentley, an exceptional quarterback, who led them to state victory with his dual-threat capabilities. Last season, Bentley threw for 3,300 yards and 47 touchdowns while rushing for nearly 1,000 yards. His dynamic play and leadership were key in Celina's perfect record and ninth state championship. Recently, Bentley committed to the University of Oklahoma and excelled at the Elite 11 showcase, proving his skills on national stages.
