Celina Bobcats Roll Past Panther Creek 48-14 to Stay Undefeated in 4-5A

Undefeated and showing no signs of slowing down, the Celina Bobcats made a statement on the road in District 4-5A play, rolling past Panther Creek 48-14 and keeping their perfect record intact.

Quarterback Zane LaCrue connected with Lamar Taylor on the game's opening score, and Taylor never looked back. The receiver finished with three touchdown catches and 154 receiving yards, giving Celina an early 7-0 advantage that the Bobcats would never relinquish.

The second quarter saw Celina shift to the ground game, methodically wearing down the Panther Creek defense. Running back Evan Koehne shook off a tackler on one carry and later punched in a 7-yard score on a direct snap — a play that appeared to have his knee down before the goal line, but no whistle came, and Koehne pushed through for the touchdown regardless.

Celina led from the opening drive to the final whistle, winning 48-14 to remain undefeated on the season and assert themselves as a serious contender in the 4-5A district race.
