Denton Ryan found themselves locked in a 14-14 tie at halftime with Burleson Centennial in a key district matchup - on the opening possession of the 2nd half they put together a nice drive with TJ Hobbs trying to cap it with a touchdown but he's picked off! Jacob Hernandez with the oske halts that would-be scoring drive. Later in the 3rd quarter same part of the field and this time they keep it on the ground as Braeden Mussett goes in untouched from 22 yards out to make it 21-14. In the early 4th they go back to the air with Hobbs finding Jose Melendez - he pinballs off a defender and takes it in, Ryan shuts out Centennial in the 2nd half to improve to 4-1 in district play, as they defend the home turf, 35-14.
