Brock Lady Eagles vs. Centerville Lady Tigers - 2013 Basketball - Week 9

Super Sophomore, Lexie Ducat , and the Brock Lady Eagles felt right at home in the Erwin Center having won the previous 4 2-A state titles. They took on Centerville who were making their first ever appearance to Austin. And right from the start, Brock began to oppose it's will on Centerville. Cora Jenkins with the steal and takes it all the way to the basket. She led all scorers with 13 points. 2nd quarter, off the inbounds, Kylie Ducat (Doo-Cate) tosses it to Taylor Wallace in the corner for the long distance dedication. Brock up 17-6 at the half and cruising. They finish things off in the 2nd half, Braylee Flaska dumps it in to Lexie Du Cate for the easy basket. Brock wins it 42-23 to advance to the 2A State final in hopes of a 5th straight championship.
