Prosper started the night tied for 3rd place in district 5-6A, a half-game ahead of Denton Braswell. Braswell led 6-0 but Prosper was driving, facing 4th and 6 inside the 25-yard line. Eagles quarterback Jackson Berry was looking for a way out of the pocket but couldn't find one. He gets sacked and the Bengals defense stands tall. The turnover on downs turned into 7 points when quarterback Tristan McClary threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Cam Smith, and Braswell had a 13-0 lead. But Prosper came with a 4-play drive, capped off when Noah Billings broke through on a 35-yard touchdown run. He finished with 110 yards on 14 carries, and it was 13-7. The Bengals quarterback McClary accounted for four total touchdowns - 2 in the air, 2 on the ground - and this one gave his team a 20-7 lead in the 2nd quarter. Prosper stormed back with two touchdowns to take a halftime lead, but managed only a field goal in the 2nd half and Braswell gets the win, 41-24.
