For the first time in program history, the Boswell Lady Pioneers are state champions. Their 51-42 victory over Fort Bend Hightower marks the first girls basketball state title for a Fort Worth team since 2007, ending a nearly two-decade championship drought.
Camille Williams anchored the effort with a double-double performance, posting 12 points and 10 rebounds. Celeste Massey paced the scoring with 16 points as Boswell built a comfortable 25-18 halftime cushion. The Lady Pioneers controlled the second half to secure the historic win and etch their names into Fort Worth basketball lore.
