Huge Saturday afternoon test for 5th ranked Carter as the Cowboys took on 4th ranked Booker T Washington out of Houston
Things looked good early on as the Cowboys played above the rim. Kole Williams with the quick dish to Daniel Thomas for the 2 handed stuff.
Then, Chance Puryear (Puri-er) is wide open for 3, he misses, but WATCH OUT BELOW....Williams with the empathic putback dunk. 22-18 Carter after 1.
2nd quarter, more Williams, as he takes the pass and goes up strong on the Washington big man and then the not-too-subtle reminder that "he's small". 38-32 Carter at the break.
3rd quarter, Puryear gets another chance for an open 3....not gonna miss this time. Chance with 19 points and Cowboys led 54-52 after 3.
4th quarter, some icing from Williams....Bryce Dennison with the steal and he makes sure Kole gets one more dunk. Williams with 18 points and Carter passes this test with a 78-67 win.
