New Allen Head Coach Chad Morris looking on as his Eagles took on Atascocita from the Houston area. First quarter, Atascocita driving, but Gavin Session's pass hits his receiver in the hands...apparently a bad spot because it tips up in the air and Nicholas Bargains makes the pick in the end zone. Second quarter, on 4th and 4, Mike Hawkins fires one in to Jordan Tyson for the 7 yard touchdown. 7-0 Allen Still second quarter, Allen only up 10-7, but Hawkins airs this one out to Steven Gorski for a 41 yard touchdown. Allen up 17-7 and feeling good. However, the combination of Session to Chase Sowell killed that good vibe. Here they hook up for 35 yards to cut the Allen lead to 4
and then, on the last play of the half, another Session to Sowell connection. This one 29 yards. That combo resulted in 4 touchdowns on the night and Allen loses their first ever game at Eagle Stadium 41-20. It also snapped an 84 straight regular season winning streak for Allen.
