Bowie came out making plays in this game, quarterback Drevvon Ponder keeps it on the touchdown run to put the Volunteers up 7-nothing early.
Later, after Arlington was stuffed on a fourth down, Bowie takes advantage again. This time it's Scott Trint scooting his way in for six. Bowie up 14-nothing in the first quarter.
Now 14-12, the Volunteers get a bit of luck, the fumble at the goal line, but Aaron Runnels is in the middle of the pile and recovers the football for a touchdown.
