The McKinney Lions and Arlington Martin Warriors hooked up today to see who will go to San Antonio.
Warriors open up an early lead, watch the give and go from Andre Norris to Cydd Ford and he scoops home the tough bucket in traffic.
Then JaKobe Walter goes to work, first the sweet step back 3 after shaking his defender.
And then a few plays later, the no look dish to his running buddy Alex Anamekwa for the 2 handed flush.
But Martin's Tristan Walls answers that bucket and gets the foul for the 3 point play, Martin up 2 at the half.
Then in the 2nd half McKinney couldn't be stopped, first Walter misses the little jumper but Anamekwa cleans it up with the follow up jam.
Then the big fella Thatcher McClure finds a wide open lane and finishes with AUTHORITY!! The Lions pull away in the 4th and secure the 58-36 win over Martin and also secure a spot in San Antonio next week for a chance to win the state title.
