Five touchdowns in one game is worth practicing your celebration for. Arlington Martin's Javian Jones-Priest had his end zone routine on display at halftime against Bowie — and with good reason. He had already found the end zone four times in the first half, and when he scored again to open the third quarter, the Warriors were firmly in control at 36-13.
Bowie made a push to cut into the deficit, capping a long drive with a Mason Nichols to Antonio Bridow 12-yard touchdown connection to pull within 36-20. But Martin's offense had an answer every time. Quarterback Chase Devoll delivered a deep strike to Malik Mason, who made a diving catch in the red zone to extend the lead, then hit Ty Ingram for a 7-yard score to put the game away.
The final score was 45-20, and with it, Arlington Martin remained undefeated on the season. The Warriors' complete performance on both sides of the ball earned them the Texas Oncology Team of the Week.
