A pair of Warriors got together Friday night as Arlington Martin visited South Grand Prairie in a district 8-6A opener for both schools.
1st play of the game and SGP strikes big, Daylon Brooks throws out to Jayden Stanley who makes the first guy miss and then he's OFF, 75 yard house call on the first play of the game, can't start better than that.
Martin settles in after that, here Brooks Brigance pitches to Daylon Cobb and Cobb goes straight up the gut diving in for the score, Cobb with 106 yards rushing in the game.
Then the Martin D doing their part as Stanley's pass is picked off by Marcus Mason and the Martin offense would take over from there.
Here, Brigance calls his own number after the GREAT fake, weaves his way thru the SGP defense and cruises in for the touchdown, Brigance led all rushers with 187 on the ground and Arlington Martin gets the road win by the final of 55-37 over South Grand Prairie.
