The Forney Jackrabbits squared off against 11 time state champ Aledo Friday night in Midlothian for a spot in the title game.
Bearcats strike first when Hawk Patrick-Daniels takes the handoff and bounced his way in for the score from 13 yards out, Aledo gets a 2-point conversion and take the 8 zip lead.
The Aledo D came to play in this one, here Forney back to punt but Davhon Keys gets the block and the recovery giving the offense great field position, also earning the Bearcats our Defensive Title Belt for the week.
And here's what they did with that, Hauss Hejny throws a dart to Tyson Timms who goes down at the 1, and Aledo would cash that in for 6 on the next play.
On a windy night not suitable for passing, the Bearcats ground attack was unstoppable, here Keys takes the snap and basically walks in for the score, Aledo led 22-7 at the half.
Then it's Patrick-Daniels again, here he fights for the goal line and gets. it, Patrick-Daniels had 203 rushing yards for the game.
And then that guy Keys again, here he puts the finishing touches on this one as he PUNISHES a defender at the goal line, Aledo finished with 370 yards on the ground as they punch their ticket to yet another state championship game with the big 43-7 win over Forney. Aledo will face Smithson Valley out of San Antonio next week for the championship.
