It is a long process building a High School Football program from the ground up, but it has paid dividends for the Denton Braswell Bengals who were the team to beat in 2019. The Lancaster Tigers finished the season 36-1 and ranked as the 21st best team in the nation. The Tigers weren't able to compete for a state title due to the coronavirus, but for their efforts they are our Geico Team of the Week.
